The beginning of June brought some very hot weather. Without air conditioning, we all were sweaty and a little irritable. I gave Caleb a cool bath to help him be more comfortable, and I let him "air dry" in his crib. He seemed so content! And he had plenty to say, too. His babbling is so beautiful to listen to!

Our friends, Merlin and Carla, got married! Yeah! Jason played a big role in the ceremony, but I was just excited to see him in a tuxedo again. He looked so handsome. Caleb and I spent lots of time together that day, and he even stayed awake to party at the reception.

Caleb has been enjoying a few new activities lately. He doesn't mind being on his tummy to play for a few minutes. And he likes the Jolly Jumper. Altough it always manages to induce spitting up!

Strawberry farms are not unusual to find in Ottawa, and they're open to the public for picking. I was charmed by the idea, so we loaded up the family to pick our own basket. In general, Caleb wasn't very impressed. To him the hot event just postponed dinner. When we showed him a strawberry though, he picked it up and took it straight to his mouth! They tasted so good to eat fresh off the "vine."

We sure to love LOVE. Our friends Dan and Jen got married this weekend. Again, Caleb was a jem!

The bride's mother insisted on holding him so that Jason and I could dance together at the reception.
